| Lablabi - Soup
(Pea Soup)
Cooking Recipes Ingredients
1 lb. chick peas (2 cups)
few cloves of garlic
1 tbs. harissa
1 tbs. cumin seeds
3 tbs. lemon juice
1/3 cup olive oil
few slices of one-day-old bread
Cooking Recipes Directions
Wash chick-peas well and leave them overnight to soak. Cook
in the same water until tender (about 10-15 minutes). Add
a further 3 1/2 cups of water and heat again. Add harrisa,
garlic and cumin seeds. Season with salt to taste. Stir and
cook a few minutes longer. Add olive oil and lemon juice and
a few slices of bread. Serve hot.
