Cooking Recipes Ingredients
1 whole chicken
6 slices ginger root
2 c. cooking wine or sherry
5 c. water
2 t. sugar
1 t. salt

Remove any fat from the cavity of the chicken and cut the
chicken into bit-size pieces. 2. Heat the wok and then add
sesame oil. Stir-fry the ginger root until fragrant. 3. Add
the pieces of chicken and stir-fry for 1 minute. 4. Add the
cooking wine and bring to a boil. 5. Add (5 c. water, 2 t.
sugar and 1 t. salt) and boil again, turn the heat to low
and simmer for 20 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl and
serve.
